📱 Nationwide roll out of PMKUSUM App

Kicking off the year with a bang, we unveiled the PMKusum mobile application on the Play Store. Not only did we successfully extend its reach to over 10 Indian states, but our achievement was also underscored by its impeccable performance, with zero downtimes and rave reviews. 🚌 Integrated Transport Management systems for smart cities

As urban landscapes evolve, so must their infrastructure. Our work on the Integrated Transport Management Solution exemplifies this ethos. ITMS provided a complete transport hub solution which included ticketing, smart cards, fleet management, live bus tracking, information display showing arrival times and schedule of fleets, etc. Such a system resulted in better overall travel experience of its user and delivered better efficiency with increased revenues for the operators. From smart ticketing to real-time fleet tracking, our system ushered in a new era of efficiency and enhanced commuter experiences.

As we are going to roll out this solution in early 2024 in one of the city in Angloa (a country in Africa), we are quite confident that it will surely improve upon the way urban transport systems work and will leave a positive impact on the lives of the commuters/users who use public transport systems.

📊 Add-on / Extending BUSY Accounting system functionality

We specialize in developing the add ons / extending functionalities of existing systems where possible. Many times our clients use the system which they are quite comfortable using for their day to day operation but they want some add-on functionality e.g. producing customized reports, improvised workflow, data integration with other 3rd party systems, allowing controlled access to their system to external users, etc. We built one such add-on top of the BUSY accounting software to allow external users (customers of our client) to view an existing stock, pricing of the items and place an order directly through a portal which was not possible with Busy system alone. With this extended portal, our client could share real time information of stock and pricing of various items with his clients and also removed manual intervention of providing quotes and waiting for customer orders, etc. Developing such an extended portal resulted in increased efficiency, better productivity for our clients.

Busy accounting system has a large user base across India and we are now looking forward to developing more n more such Add-ons / extended functionalities for various businesses that use Busy system.

💰 Implementation of Loyalty/reward system

Once again our integration expertise and skill came handy when we integrated the loyalty/reward point system (from Mowana) with the client's existing invoicing system in Sage. With our integrated solution, every day invoices of the client got synced with their loyalty point system (without any manual intervention) and our client could offer his retail customers benefit of loyalty rewards which resulted in better retention ratio and increased business for them.

🚀 Innovation with smart vehicles

With the invent of IoT and micro sensors, vehicles are also getting smarter and safer now. We got an opportunity from a client based in Europe in the automobile sector where we had to capture and process the very high speed signals from the IoT sensors. It was indeed very challenging as we had to capture the frames being sent at a baud rate as high as 115200 and above. Frames received were being processed in real time and deriving meaningful information out of it was indeed a challenge. Our client had all the praises for us as he was really delighted with the way our solution performed i.e. without skipping any frame even at extreme high speed while keeping the system responsive all the time.

🔗 Implementing solutions that integrate both Software & Hardware

One of the key expertise which we developed as a team this year was to develop a solution that integrates both hardware and software. Be it printer or card reader for ITMS systems or processing data from IoT sensors or communicating with field devices using serial/TCP ports, we have been able to build the solutions that work in tandem with software programs. We are really looking forward to harnessing these skills further and project our skill of developing turn key solutions for our client in a time to come. We would like to project these skills of ours as a unique proposition and differentiator from our competitors.

💼 Embracing the Remote Work Revolution:

In the post-pandemic era, remote work has become the cornerstone of modern businesses. We could not afford to miss this trend and hence we consistently put efforts to provide trained and cost effective resources to enterprises to our valued clients world over. In a very short span of time, we have fulfilled remote resources requirements for our clients on various technologies i.e. .net core, Azure DevOps, SQL DBAs and Admins, Power BI, QA, iOS/Android, etc. Across geographies i.e. right from North America to Australia, remote resources placed by us have helped our clients to achieve critical releases and take care of day to day support operations effectively and efficiently.

We are excited and really look forward to continuing the exceptional work which we have done in this segment.

As I reflect upon this amazing journey we had in the year 2023, I'm filled with gratitude—for our dedicated team, visionary clients, and the relentless pursuit of innovation that defines iKart's DNA.
